A major critical success factor for projects is to meet the deadline

Some deadlines are pre-defined by management or external forces; others are calculated by the project manager

This week we shall

  1. review critical path analysis (CPA) and Gantt charts
  2. consider how to refine plans to meet tight deadlines
  3. discuss how to alter plans to match the resources available
