Definitions

Senior management are those in charge of

• the technical staff doing the work;
• the users (customers) requesting the work; and
• the financial resources

The project manager is responsible for day to day running of the project

The teams produce the work of the project

• the "deliverables" or "products"

Remeber that a project is all about producing deliverables/products

• software
• installed hardware
• users' procedures
• documentation
• etc
