Excel Exercise 1
Excel Exercise 2
Excel Exercise 3

Microsoft Excel is

"A comprehensive spreadsheet package that lets you manage, chart and analyse data."

In these two exercises you are asked to

Create a single spreadsheet, this might eventually form a simple database
Create a workbook contains spreadsheets and charts

To do these two exercises you will need a set of files.  They are contained in the following "self-extracting executable" files.

Files for Office 97: ITWorkout97.exe
Files for Office 95: ITWorkout95.exe
Just click on the required version of the files required.
Save the "EXE" file either in the \TEMP directory on the C: drive OR on the A: (floppy) disk.
When the file has been "downloaded", start Windows NT Explorer (it's on the "Programs" menu), find the \TEMP directory (or the A: drive) and double click on the EXE file.  You will be asked where you want to put the extracted files.  These should again go onto either the \TEMP directory or the floppy disk (the A: drive).
Once you've extracted the files you can delete the EXE file (this can be done in Windows NT explorer.)

Note that these EXE files also contain the files you need for the Word exercises.

Here's a simple Quiz on Excel,
a Quiz on using Excel and
a slightly harder Quiz on Excel
