Summary of Research

Multi-Agent Systems often fall down because of the range of paradigms available. The main difficulty lies in which methodology is most appropriate for the problem at hand. Similar problems exist in traditional Software Engineering, which has prompted the need for Automated Programming and Rapid Prototyping. RAPIDO is an Agent-based Toolkit which attempts to address these problems by supporting the development process. It uses domain independent requirements capture and automated programming libraries to develop prototypes by stepwise refinement.
