Dave Farthing works in the Information Systems Division, and lectures in:
- systems analysis and design:
- IS2S551 Information Systems Analysis and Design 2 (HND) (from 2012-13);
- information systems management:
- IS2S21 Information Systems Management (BSc/HND);
- IS4S705 Strategic IS Governance (MSc);
- IS3S03 E-commerce Systems & Strategy (BSc);
- project management:
- IS4S706 Project Management & Research Management (MSc).
Research interests include:
- using modern technology to map developing countries;
- disaster preparedness in developing countries;
- educational issues, such as open learning, multiple
choice questions etc;
- the types of notation used when designing information systems.
Dave is the Programme Leader for the
BSc
(Hons) Degree.

- for most awards look for "your award name - BSc - Year 3";
- for Computer Science/Studies look for "Computer Studies - BSc - Year 3"

- if you didn't submit a module choice form on time you may have to
work out your own timetable by looking at each module's timetable.
