Psychological Experiments

  1. Test the validity of model.
  2. Hypotheses are formed.
  3. Show knowledge required.
  4. Test task timing.

Psychological experiments are conducted to test the validity of the model. This involves the operationalization of the theory into a form of a set of hypotheses that can be tested by means of experiments. Experiments may test that some specified knowledge is necessary for the performance of a task. Other experiments may test an hypothesis that one task can be performed more quickly than another.
